Omnivent takes over MB Koeltechniek refrigeration
Omnivent, the APH Group member specialized in ventilation and storage technology for the agricultural sector, has taken over MB Koeltechniek, a specialist in refrigeration from Ammerzoden in the southern part of Holland.
With this acquisition, Omnivent now has all expertise and technology available to provide customers with complete solutions in ventilation, climate control and refrigeration techniques. Omnivent employs approximately 100 people and operates in over 45 countries. MB Koeltechniek employs 15 people.
Taking over a refrigeration specialist was one of the top priorities in Omnivent her strategy. Previously, the company hired external specialists for cooling requests. With the acquisition of MB Koeltechniek this is no longer necessary. Besides specialized knowledge the company has a direct link with the agricultural sector.
It is expected that in a number of years the company from Ammerzoden will double its sales. Particularly its specialization in Ultra Low Oxygen (ULO) storage and the production of their own chillers are interesting for Omnivent. MB Koeltechniek will continue to operate in the market as an independent company.
The former owner of MB Koeltechniek, Mari van de Meer, will stay involved in the company in the coming years.
